DroidKaigi is a developer-first Android conference. It is run by Android developers and we organize this conference to share knowledge and connect with other developers.

• Early Bird: 12,600 JPY (available to purchases made before 31 July 2024, 23:59(JST))
• Regular: 15,800 JPY (applies to purchases made after 1 August 2024, 00:00(JST))
• DroidKaigi Superfan ticket: 30,000 JPY

• For those who are living in Japan, we will be shipping the original name badge in advance. Please enter your shipping address when purchasing your ticket.

Workshop Day (11 September)

On Wed, 11 September, we will hold a hands-on workshop to learn about Compose Multiplatform and Kotlin Multiplatform. We will be inviting Sebastian Aigner from JetBrains as the instructor.
There is a limit to the number of participants, so you will need to apply in advance in addition to your ticket for DroidKaigi 2024.

Scholarship program

At DroidKaigi 2024, we plan to have a scholarship program to support student attendees.
Details will be announced on the DroidKaigi 2024 official website, so please stay tuned if you are interested.

Venue Notices

After the session on Conference Day 1 (Thu, 12 September), we are planning to host an after-party. Participants are welcome to join directly after attending the session.
Additionally, we will provide lunch boxes, light snacks, drinks, and sweets at the venue.

Venue Facilities

Workshop Day (11 September)

There is a limit to the number of participants, and separate advance registration is required in addition to purchasing a ticket. Details on how to register will be provided to those who purchased a ticket at a later date.
A Wi-Fi network will be available for participants.

Conference Day (12 September, 13 September)

If the capacity of a session room is exceeded, participants may not be able to attend the session.
There will be no Wi-Fi network available for participants.

Reception

Workshop Day (11 September)

Please present the QR code from your Doorkeeper ticket email at the reception.
If you are enrolled in the scholarship program, please be sure to bring your student ID as well.

Reception is open during 12:00-13:00.

• You cannot enter if you forget to bring your ticket/student ID!
• Please have your QR code/student ID ready while in line.

Conference Day (12 September, 13 September)

Please show your QR code sent via Doorkeeper at the reception.
If you are enrolled in the scholarship program, please be sure to bring your student ID as well.

Reception is open during

• 12 September (Thu): 9:30 - 16:30
• 13 September (Fri): 9:00 - 16:30

Notes:

• You cannot enter if you forget to bring your ticket/student ID!
• Reception will peak at around 10:30 on 12 September, so please come early if possible to avoid congestion.
• Please have your QR code/student ID ready while in line.

Notes on Tickets

• Speakers (including co-speakers) of DroidKaigi 2024 do not need to buy tickets.
• Tickets are non-refundable.
• We do not provide receipts. Please use the Doorkeeper receipts and/or credit card statement as proof of purchase.

Other

• Photos will be taken during the event, as well as press coverage.
• Any official photos taken may be published on the Web to promote the event.
• Sessions will be recorded and will be published on the Web at a later date.
• If you have any questions, please contact info@droidkaigi.jp. We cannot respond to questions sent from the Doorkeeper contact form.
• We are working to ensure the safety and security of everyone coming to DroidKaigi, by cooperating with the local municipalities, especially the Tokyo Metropolitan Government where the venue is located, public health centers and other administrative bodies under its jurisdiction, as well as the venue providers. We plan to provide lunch boxes and hold meetups with food, but there might be changes by the time of the event in September 2024 depending on the situation regarding COVID-19.
