DroidKaigi is a developer-first Android conference. It is organized by a volunteer committee with diverse expertise, with the aim of sharing Android technical information and facilitating communication.

• For residents in Japan, DroidKaigi 2025 plans to pre-ship original name badges. Please provide your address when purchasing tickets.
• Please note that we do not support the invoice system.

Workshop Day: 10 September

We will be inviting instructors from JetBrains to hold a hands-on workshop.

Please note that there is a limit to the number of participants, and separate advance registration is required in addition to purchasing a main event ticket.

Scholarship program

At DroidKaigi 2025, we will implement a scholarship program to support students. Details will be announced on the DroidKaigi 2025 official website: https://2025.droidkaigi.jp/en/

Venue Notices

On 11 September evening (Conference Day 1), we are planning to host an after-party. Participants are welcome to join directly after attending the session. Additionally, we will provide boxed lunches, light snacks, drinks, and sweets at the venue.

Conference Day (11 September, 12 September)

If the capacity of each session room is exceeded, participants may not be able to attend the session. There will be no Wi-Fi available for participants.

Reception

At the reception, please present the QR code sent to you in the Doorkeeper ticket email.

Reception is open during 12:00-13:00.

• You will not be able to enter without the QR code.
• Please have your QR code ready while in line to ease congestion.
• Registration for the Workshop is required to participate.

Those participating in the scholarship program will be contacted separately.

Conference Day: 11 September, 12 September

At the reception, please present your QR code sent via Doorkeeper.
Reception is open during:

• 11 September (Thu): 9:30-16:30
• 12 September (Fri): 9:00-16:30

Notes:

• You will not be able to enter without the QR code.
• Reception will peak at around 10:30 on 11 September, so please come early if possible to avoid congestion.
• Please have your QR code ready while in line to ease congestion.

Notes on Registration

• Speakers (including co-speakers) do not need to buy tickets.
• Tickets are non-refundable, even in case of cancellation or accidental purchase.
• We generally do not provide receipts. Please use the receipt issued by Doorkeeper or your credit card statement as proof of purchase.

Other Notes

• Photos will be taken during the event, as well as press coverage. Any official photos taken may be published on the Web to promote the event. Please be aware of this in advance.
• Sessions will be recorded and will be published on the Web at a later date. Please note that you may appear in the footage. Please be aware of this in advance.

• We are working to ensure the safety and security of everyone coming to DroidKaigi 2025, by cooperating with the local governments, especially the Tokyo municipality where the venue is located, public health centers and other administrative bodies under its jurisdiction, as well as the venue providers. We plan to provide boxed lunches and hold meet-ups that involve food and beverages, however, these plans may change depending on the situation as of September 2025 (guidance from local authorities, the state of public health, including infectious diseases, etc.).
